Fish Pesmol Recipe. |
Ingredients:
4 slices of Ikan Tenggiri
½ tablespoon of turmeric powder
1 Lemon Grass (smashed)
1 inch of Galangal (smashed)
10 Birdeyes Chili*
5 Red Chili*
4 Shallots*
2 cloves of Garlic*
1 inch of Turmeric*
1 inch Ginger*
2 lime leaves
1 tumeric leave
1 coconut milk (mixed with 500ml water)
Salt and sugar to taste
*mix and grind to make paste.
How To:
Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt. Fry the fish in a pan until golden and crispy. Toast and put it aside on a plate. Now, for the sauce, heat up about 2 tablespoons cooking oil in a frying pan. Saute the grinded paste until fragrant. Add the lemon grass and galanggal and stir it well. Add lime leaves. Add coconut milk, stir and bring it to boil. Finally add lime juice, sugar and salt to taste. Pour the sauce on top of fried fish and serve it with steaming bowl of white rice!
