Saturday, 25th May 2014 – We were at Thistle Hotel, Port Dickson for a short break. It is a nice place to stay for one night or two, I reckon. The beach is not the best of I have been visited, however the facilities provided at the hotel such as movie room, children games room, pool, short golf course, sport facilities and more will make your break enjoyable. For me, as long my two SM’s crews are happy, that’s enough.

So, we arrived at 3 pm, without any issue on that day. Well, I have always make sure the essentials are at top conditions before started a trip (wife, kids and car). Guess what! once check in into our room, without any delay, crews immediately asked for their swimming gears. They can’t wait even for a minute and what make it worst, our room was facing the pool. Hahaha..

We had our dinner in room because the crews were so tired after so much energy contributed to the pool. “Are we going to swim again tomorrow?” asked the little one. Unfortunately, it was drizzling the next morning. Anyway, this weren’t the first time happening to us. We always wanted to explore for local foods but always fail at the end.

I was the first to wake up the next morning (as usual), and after performing Solat, I sat down on the room’s balcony to enjoy the dawn view. It was drizzling anyway. At 7.30am, everyone were ready for breakfast. We had a great breakfast and back to the swimming pool once the rain has stopped.

Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable short break experience for Selera Malaysia and crews. We hope to come back again soon. Thanks.
