Chicken Padprik Recipe


Today's recipe is Chicken Padprik. It is a simple recipe and can be easily found in any Malay & Thai's restaurants. This is probably the most favorite dish to be ordered by customers in Malay and Thai's restaurants. This recipe can also be replaced by beef or seafood. Few years back, when we were in Dublin, we used to sell Beef Padprik during lunch time. You can read my previous post about beef padprik to learn more about it.


Ingredients: 
Chicken breast (sliced small) 
5 Shallots* 
2 cloves of garlic* 
4 bird’s eye chilies* 
2 lemon grass 
2 Calamansi leaves 
A cup of mix veggies (Long beans, carrot, tomatoes) 
1 tablespoons of Tomato sauce** 
1 tablespoons of Chili sauce** 

2 tablespoons of Oyster sauce** 
1 tablespoons of Sweet soy sauce** 
1 tablespoons of Fish sauce** 
Salt and sugar to taste

*Grind

How to: 
In a wok heat up 4 tablespoons of cooking oil and stir fry asterisks ingredients for 30 seconds. Add chicken and continue to fry until is ¾ cooked. Then add the double asterisks ingredient together with lemon grass and calamansi leaves. Finally add all the vegetables, salt and sugar. Stir to mix them well before served.
