A Traditional Malaysian Kitchen

A traditional Malaysian Kitchen? Out of no where the question just pop up while I was preparing a new recipe write up for my blog. So what is it? I’m not sure but I know in a traditional Malaysian Kitchen they must have a Mortar and Pestle (Batu Lesung) and a Stone Grinder (Batu Giling). Mortar and Pestle is still being used by many Malaysian especially in preparation of 'Sambal Belacan' but it is rare to find people who are using Stone Grinder now days.

Perhaps, living in the world full of inventions, it is hard to find a traditional Malaysian Kitchen. However, in an ordinary Malaysian Kitchen, you will find Mortar and Pestle, Rice Cooker, Wok, variety selection of spices, Powder(Curry, Turmeric, Kurma, Kuzi and many more), Spatula and more.
