If you can take the heat, then you will love this! This is one of the best Biryani dishes available in Singapore. In fact it is Singapore’ Best Dum Biryani. So, before I talk more about my time at the restaurant, allow me to briefly guide you with some information about Bismillah Biryani.

What do you need to know about it?

First, this is not a fancy or fine dining restaurant. However, the Biryani served is probably amongst the best in Singapore. In another word, we can say, the taste overcomes the environment. They’ve also claimed ‘Making money is our secondary objective. Making good and least health food is primary. Taste counts but your health matters most’. Hmmmm...Yes, food are tasty, no doubt about that (if you like to eat hot & spicy foods) but S$8.00 for Chicken Biryani and S$15.00 for Lamb Biryani doesn’t it sound like ‘Making Money’! Hehehehe..The Biryanis served are moist and tasty too so because of that there will be no gravy and Dalcha served in their Biryani.

Where is the restaurant and what is the operation hours?

They are located at 50, Dunlop Street, 209379 Singapore and the opening hours is from 11.30am till 10.30pm, Wednesday to Monday. Tuesday is closed!

Ok now, let me talk about my lunch time today at the restaurant. We arrived around 12.30pm and the restaurant was a full house. We were so hungry and yet have to wait for about 10 minutes before being seated. It's fine, as long as we get the Biryani! So, while waiting I took few photos for blogging purposes. Yeap, from the photos taken below you can tell and judge by yourself that this wasn't a fancy restaurant. Once seated, we straight away, without wasting any time, asked for chicken and lamb Biryani.

The foods were quickly served onto our table, and as usual, few photos were taken before we started to eat. Ok now, let’s eat. We recite ‘Bismillah ir rahman ir rahim - In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Compassionate’ first and eat. I don’t know how to describe, how good the Biryani was. But one thing for sure, I was sweating a lot but still managed to finish the food. It was hot and spicy but so addictive too. I will definitely come over again next time for another plate of Biryani. Memang ter-angkat!
