This is Nasi Kerabu Ketam at Cholleey stall and is totally by far the most expensive street food that I ever tried. Nasi Kerabu is a Malay rice dish and originated from north east Malaysia (Kelantan). The blue coloured rice is a type of nasi ulam, and usually served with dried fish or fried chicken or smoked beef, crackers, budu(anchovies sauce), pickles and other salads.

Similar to other Nasi Kerabu that I have tasted before, only this time it being served together with delicious fried Ketam (Crab). Although this is considered as a new to me (so excited and amazed), but I believe for people who came from north east of Malaysia, this isn’t a new thing.
We had a great street food lunch here at Cholleey. The stall is located at 21, Jalan Baru 2, Taman Bukit Kajang Baru, 43000 Kajang, Selangor. You might not be able to locate the stall easily, so please get your GPS or Waze ready. I’ve overlooked and passed the stall twice but managed to find it eventually. I bet that you will experience the same. So, when you are looking for Nasi Kerabu Ketam Cholley, look for a corner lot terrace house instead of an actual stall.

We arrived at 12 noon, and only 3 tables were occupied. Initially, our plan was to dine in, however due to time limitation we had to take it away. We took away three pack of wonderful Nasi Kerabu Ketam for RM60. Yes, it was expensive but I really enjoy my Nasi Kerabu. To be honest, my personal thought and consider that there were only three tables occupied at that time, their service was to slow. And this area definitely needs for improvement!

They might look incomplete or far compare to any fancy restaurants, but the foods here were so tasty and stall were clean too. The two combination are just enough for me to recommend others to try out the wonderful taste of Nasi Kerabu Ketam Cholley.
