Simple but tasty! Yes, I believe I've produced a bowl of delicious Prawns Curry. The recipe was copied from Simpe Fish Curry post. Awesome, the only thing that you need to do here is, to replace fish with prawns. You will be experiencing a different taste of curry because of the prawns. Maybe, because of the sweetness that came out of the prawns.
So to try my Prawns Curry, just follow the recipe and instruction below;
Ingredients
1/4 kg of prawns
5 Cloves of shallots* - pounded
2 Cloves of Garlic* - pounded
1 Inch of Ginger* - pounded
4 tablespoons of Curry Powder
3 Cardamom & 3 Star Anise
1/2 teaspoon of Sweet Cumin*
1/2 teaspoon of Cumin*
A cup of Tamarind juice
2 Tomatoes -sliced
Salt to tasteHow to:
First, In mortar & pestle or food processor, grind the asterisk (*) ingredients above into fine paste. Mix ground paste with curry powder(add some water), Cardamom and Star Anise. Heat up cooking oil in a bowl and fry the mixture until fragrant(2-3 minutes). Add water. Stir to boil and add prawns. Add tamarind juice and reduce heat to simmer. Finally add tomatoes and salt to taste.
