Today, we would like to share a simple and delicious recipe called ’Kam Heong Chicken’, but before that, our apologies for the lateness on blog update recently (part time blogger anyway). However, we hope all our latest articles posted here finds you well and that for the last six weeks or so have been good to you.

After Ramadan (this month), we had a very tight schedule due to post Hari Raya events such as open house and etc. However because we do love all about Malaysia and it foods (especially) so much, we will keep updating this blog for our readers.

Ok, let’s talk about the recipe. Why ‘Kam Heong Chicken’? Recently, and still, we feel like chasing the clock a lot. And for that reason, Chinese inspired foods are the best option for us. Quick and it’s on the go! You may also be inspired to mess up your kitchen or to quit ordering foods from Chinese takeaway restaurant after learning about on how simple the preparation process.

Golden Fragrant Chicken
Below the recipe for you to try, so make this and see what happens next!

STEP ONE 
Ingredients 
2 chicken Breast(cut into pieces) 
1 Egg (whisked and white only) 
Pepper & Salt 
2 cups of plain flour

How to
Marinate the chicken with the whisked egg together with white pepper and salt. Set aside for a few minutes. Then coat the marinated chicken with flour and deep fried until golden brown.

STEP TWO 
Ingredients 
3 Garlic (finely chopped)* 
5 Shallots (finely chopped)* 
2 Table spoon of dried shrimps (soaked in warm water for few mins then pound or finely chopped)* 
3-5 Birds eye chili (chopped or slice into 2)* 
3 Dried chili (cut about 1 inch long)** 
Couples of curry leaves** 
2 Tablespoon of curry powder (make it paste) 
1 Tablespoon of light soy sauce 
1 Tablespoon Dark soy sauce 
Salt and sugar to taste

How to
First, sauté the asterisks* ingredient for a few minutes. Then add in the double asterisks** until fragrant. Next add in the curry powder paste and mix it well. Wait for a minute or two before adding a little bit of water, light and dark soy sauce. Finally add in the fried chicken,salt and pinch of sugar to taste.
